Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Advance your career in medical imaging utilizing your MRI expertise in a dynamic acute care environment. This contract position supports a state-of-the-art healthcare facility serving an 11-county region, known for advanced cardiac and neurosurgery programs, and accredited as a Spine Center.
Schedule/Hours:
Weekly orientation every
Monday Qualifications:
Proficiency in MRI imaging, with the ability to perform high-quality scans and protocols Current and valid certifications required prior to start as applicable to MRI technologists Additional certifications may be required based on updated facility requirements At least 60 miles or greater distance from the hospital (travelers only) Strong attention to detail, safety, and patient care Excellent communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment and perform diagnostic procedures safely and efficiently Ensure accurate patient positioning and imaging based on physician orders Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure Document imaging procedures accurately in patient records Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive diagnostic information Monitor equipment for optimal functioning and coordinate maintenance as needed
