Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Advance your career in medical imaging with a dynamic opportunity focused on MRI procedures in a modern, well-equipped regional hospital serving a broad area in south central Kentucky. This contract assignment offers valuable hands-on experience within a 295-bed acute care environment, with advanced cardiac care and a certified Spine Center.
Schedule/Hours:
Weekly start dates with orientation every
Monday Qualifications:
Certification in MRI (current and valid) Compliance with all additional certifications as required by facility protocols Minimum 60-mile distance from facility required for travel candidates Previous experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and related technology Strong attention to patient safety, privacy, and infection control protocols Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients safely for imaging procedures Monitor patient condition during scans and respond to emergencies, if needed Maintain high standards for image quality and patient care Accurately document procedures and patient information in hospital systems Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other hospital staff to ensure coordinated care Uphold compliance with facility guidelines and professional standards
