Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Discover the vibrant community of Kenosha, Wisconsin—a Lake Michigan gem nestled between Chicago and Milwaukee. This location offers the perfect mix of urban energy, scenic shoreline, and local charm, making it a fantastic base for any traveling healthcare professional. When you're not honing your skills in a dynamic clinical setting, explore Kenosha's historic waterfront, cultural attractions, and renowned parks for memorable downtime adventures. This travel assignment provides a unique opportunity to gain experience at a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with 80 beds, expanding your professional repertoire. By working with a diverse inpatient, outpatient, and ED population, you'll interact with different workplace cultures, procedural approaches, and leadership styles—significantly broadening your resume and expertise.
Schedule Weekend rotation:
once per month Up to 7 days of approved time off On-call departmental rotation Qualifications Minimum 1 year of MRI imaging experience ARRT (MR registered) certification BLS certification Proficiency in basic MRI principles and MR safety practices Experience with peripheral IV starts and IV contrast injection Knowledge of implant work-up procedures Effective interpersonal and communication skills Familiarity with Siemens Sola 1.5T and Siemens Skyra 3T scanners preferred Experience with EPIC charting preferred Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality MRI imaging for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients Maintain strict MRI safety protocols Perform IV starts and administer contrast injections Accurately complete implant work-up documentation Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other department staff Adhere to departmental and regulatory standards for patient care and recordkeeping Benefits and Travel Perks Tax-advantaged stipends for lodging and meals Support with travel arrangements Premium compensation for your skills and flexibility Robust healthcare coverage and 401(k) options Reliable job security with ongoing travel opportunities Step into an enriching chapter of your professional journey while experiencing all that Southeast Wisconsin has to offer.
