Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Travel Nestled in the heart of the breathtaking Sierra Nevada mountains, Olympic Valley offers unparalleled access to natural beauty and outdoor adventure. As a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist here, you'll not only elevate your clinical expertise but also enjoy the chance to explore one of California's most stunning regions during your downtime. This assignment delivers a dynamic opportunity to work in a welcoming, mobile outpatient environment, broadening your skill set through exposure to varied procedures and innovative technology—all while collaborating with exceptional clinical leaders.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts (typically starting at 6/6:30am) No call, nights, or weekends
What You'll Do:
Administer radioisotopes and conduct nuclear medicine imaging studies, primarily outpatient (90%) with some inpatient (10%) Perform myocardial perfusion studies, gall bladder function assessments, bone scans, and stress procedures (echo and nuclear medicine) Maintain organized workflow with 2-5 patients daily, focusing on quality care and safe practices Operate Siemens e CAM and PET/CT equipment (knowledge of PET/CT is a strong advantage) Utilize MIM, iMed Scheduling, Keane Radiology System, and Philips iSite Enterprise PACS or similar Accurately document and manage patient information in
EPIC EMR
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in nuclear medicine Professional certification through ARRT or NMTCB State of California license compliance, including AB 2720 for PET/CT proficiency BLS certification required Prefer experience with PET/CT, MIM, iMed Scheduling, and PACS systems Enjoy premium benefits, including lucrative travel stipends that offer tax advantages, comprehensive travel coordination, access to robust healthcare coverage, and a 401(k) plan for your long-term security.
