Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Travel Embrace an exciting opportunity in beautiful Truckee, CA—a vibrant mountain town renowned for its stunning alpine scenery and the recreational adventures of Lake Tahoe. Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts (start time between 6:00-6:30 am) No weekends, nights, or call required
What You'll Experience:
Take on a varied caseload—90% outpatient, 10% inpatient—where your expertise in nuclear medicine will be highly valued. With responsibilities including radioisotope injections, gall bladder studies, myocardial perfusion studies, and post-stress imaging, each day will offer fresh opportunities for learning and leadership. Experience a dynamic workplace and gain valuable exposure to innovative practices and cutting-edge equipment as you help facilitate seamless transitions between mobile and permanent units.
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB certification; compliance with California AB 2720 for
PET/CT BLS
certification Experience with PET/CT highly desirable Familiarity with MIM, iMed Scheduling, Keane Radiology System, and Philips iSite Enterprise PACS preferred Proficiency with Siemens e CAM and clinical skills to manage patients for extended protocols
Core Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT and myocardial perfusion studies Inject patients with radioisotopes and monitor response Utilize digital scheduling and
PACS/RIS
systems for workflow management Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and stellar imaging quality
