Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Step into a vital therapy role in a dynamic hospital environment, where you'll help enhance patient outcomes as an Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional seeking meaningful experiences and collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team. You'll be instrumental in evaluating, planning, and administering therapeutic interventions that support patients' independence and recovery.
What You'll Bring:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with current credentials Experience providing therapy in hospital settings preferred Familiarity with a broad range of therapeutic modalities and adaptive techniques Strong assessment and documentation skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Compassionate approach and commitment to patient-centered care
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver effective occupational therapy sessions, adjusting as patients progress Educate patients and families about rehabilitation goals and home exercises Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to optimize patient outcomes Thoroughly document care, progress, and recommended modifications to therapies Maintain compliance with facility procedures and best practices in patient safety
