Qualifications & Skills:
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program At least one year of experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong assessment, documentation, and treatment planning abilities Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care
Schedule:
Full-time contract position Schedule details provided during the interview process
Role Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess patient needs, establishing individualized treatment plans Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions to restore function, mobility, and independence Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed Document all patient interactions and therapeutic interventions accurately and timely Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, equipment, and home exercise programs Uphold infection control policies and maintain a safe treatment environment
