Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Step into a vital role providing Occupational Therapy services within a hospital environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery, enable functional independence, and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. This position is well-suited for an adaptive clinician who thrives in fast-paced healthcare settings and is committed to evidence-based practice.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program Minimum of one year recent OT experience, preferably in a hospital setting Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans Implement therapies to improve mobility, self-care, cognitive and sensory processing skills Educate patients and their families on techniques to maximize independence Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and allied professionals Maintain detailed and timely patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements Contribute to patient discharge planning by recommending appropriate equipment or modifications Adhere to infection control, safety, and best practice standards
