Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team as you deliver high-quality therapeutic care, maximizing each patient's functional independence.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required Proven experience providing therapy in hospital or acute care settings Strong skills in patient assessment, individualized treatment planning, and progress documentation Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with healthcare teams, patients, and families Adaptable, patient-centered approach with a focus on delivering evidence-based care
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive assessments for patients requiring occupational therapy services Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physician directives Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress, adjusting interventions as necessary Educate patients and their families on techniques for maximizing independence and adapting to new routines Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for home modifications or adaptive equipment when appropriate
