Qualifications:
Active and current Occupational Therapist license in Illinois (or eligibility prior to start). Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Previous school-based OT experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, and adaptive problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students as assigned. Assess and evaluate student needs, develop treatment plans, and document progress. Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement interventions. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success in academic environments. Adjust therapy approaches to fit diverse student populations.
