Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Step into an environment equipped with state-of-the-art therapy gyms and join a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to delivering quality care within a high-volume acute setting. The ideal candidate thrives in a hospital environment and brings strong Occupational Therapy skills to help patients regain independence and reach their rehabilitation goals.
Requirements & Desired Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), with credentials in good standing. Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred. Proficiency in assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for diverse patient populations. Strong communication skills to coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered outcomes. Familiarity with electronic medical records and therapy documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients to develop individualized therapeutic plans focused on restoring function and enhancing quality of life. Implement treatment interventions for acute and chronic conditions, utilizing advanced equipment and gym facilities. Document all treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff to ensure seamless care delivery. Educate patients and families about therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and home safety. Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and adapt strategies as needed. Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct throughout all interactions.
