Schedule/Hours:
Friday through Monday Four 10-hour shifts per week In this rewarding hospital-based Occupational Therapist role, you'll expand your skillset, network with accomplished professionals, and add valuable experience to your clinical portfolio. The setting provides an ideal platform to build proficiency with diverse patient populations, gain exposure to advanced technologies, and practice in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and current Occupational Therapist license Previous acute care or hospital-based OT experience preferred Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions to hospitalized patients Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes Educate patients and families on therapeutic processes, progress, and aftercare Accurately document treatments, progress, and discharge plans per facility standards
