Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Empower students and support educational teams in a dynamic contract opportunity for the 2026/2027 school year as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This full-time position offers a unique chance to collaborate with school psychologists and administrators to make a difference across several high school campuses located near Littlerock, CA. Work 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing expert guidance in Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), observations, evidence-based interventions, and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) development for diverse student populations. Your expertise in addressing the needs of emotionally disturbed (ED) students and handling crisis situations is highly valued in this pivotal role. A competitive hourly pay range of $50-60 is available, commensurate with your years of experience and degree level.
Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Minimum of one year of relevant experience in K-12 school settings Experience supporting high school students, particularly those with ED classifications Crisis intervention and de-escalation training Strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) within educational environments Excellent communication and collaboration skills Access to reliable transportation for itinerant assignments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and student observations Develop and implement effective behavior intervention strategies and BIPs Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary school teams and administration Travel between multiple high schools within the district as needed
