Category Nursing - RN - CVOR Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with a specialty in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) care for a dynamic travel contract opportunity. This position calls for motivated nursing professionals who thrive in fast-paced surgical environments, ensuring optimal patient outcomes throughout every phase of cardiovascular procedures.

Schedule:

4×10-hour shifts per week (GWW 40) Day shifts with varied start times Rotational call coverage, including weekday, weekend, and holiday assignments Minimum of 14 call shifts required during contract

Key Qualifications:

Active California RN license in good standing Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (with annual renewal as required) At least 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience Minimum of 1 year experience as a travel

RN Role Responsibilities:

Deliver expert nursing care for cardiovascular operating room patients, adhering to evidence-based practices and safety protocols Support the surgical team by anticipating procedure needs and ensuring all equipment, instruments, and supplies are prepared and maintained Continually monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition Facilitate patient and family education throughout the perioperative period Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, participating in call rotations and adapting to a variety of surgical case complexities Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with hospital standards
