Job Description

You'll be immersed in dynamic acute inpatient and swing bed care, expanding your skills through hands-on experiences while enjoying access to nearby outdoor adventures and small-town hospitality on your days off.
Position Details:
Full-time, travel position
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift (8:30 am-5:00 pm) No self-scheduling; plan to accommodate the required onboarding process
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy to 8-10 patients per day in acute inpatient and swing bed settings Care for adults experiencing orthopedic (total joints), neurological (strokes, occasional brain injuries—not TBI), and medical/ICU conditions Collaborate with the department manager and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Flexibly float to a nearby facility when census is low Complete thorough documentation using
EPIC EMR
system
Qualifications:
Active OT license with at least 1 year of recent acute inpatient or acute rehab experience (first-time travelers welcome) Current BLS certification required Comfort working independently, as you'll be the only therapist scheduled daily Willingness to float as needed to a nearby medical center Flexibility to cover holidays if scheduled
