Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Experience the scenic beauty of Kimberly, ID, where thriving in your profession and savoring adventure go hand in hand. This opportunity introduces you to a remarkable region known for its welcoming community, picturesque landscapes, and easy access to outdoor escapes, making your downtime as rewarding as your workdays. As a travel therapist, you'll enhance your clinical expertise while working with a diverse patient population in both acute inpatient and swing bed settings—an excellent way to build your skills and expand your resume. Here, you'll collaborate closely with a leadership team skilled in innovative rehabilitation practices and state-of-the-art technology, including
EPIC EMR.
You'll treat a range of cases from orthopedic total joints and neurological strokes to general ICU and medical diagnoses. With one therapist per day managing 8-10 patients, you'll take ownership of your caseload within a supportive environment that encourages autonomy while still maintaining teamwork.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, five 8-hour shifts (8:30am-5:00pm; no self-scheduling) Occasional holiday coverage may be required 2-3 days of departmental orientation prior to full onboarding Flexibility to float to a nearby facility when census is low
Qualifications:
Current OT licensure with at least one year of experience in acute inpatient or rehabilitation settings BLS certification Willingness to float between acute inpatient and swing bed as needed Familiarity with
EPIC EMR
preferred Scrubs required; color guidelines provided upon hire Eligible only if permanent address is more than 50 miles from the facility
