Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Make a meaningful impact by helping patients achieve greater independence and improved quality of life as an occupational therapist in a hospital setting. This contract role is ideal for professionals passionate about delivering hands-on therapy to diverse patient populations and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine occupational therapy needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and evidence-based practices Deliver therapeutic interventions to support daily living, motor skills, and functional independence Regularly evaluate patient progress, adjusting plans as needed to maximize outcomes Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic strategies and safe practices Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure coordinated patient care Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies and professional standards
Qualifications:
Valid state license (or eligibility) to practice as an Occupational Therapist Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting strongly preferred Solid foundation in assessment, therapeutic interventions, and patient education Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interactions Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage a varied caseload Current CPR/BLS certification preferred This contract opportunity offers you the chance to broaden your clinical expertise, work with dedicated healthcare professionals, and make a tangible difference in patients' lives each day.
