Key Qualifications:

Current RN license with Operating Room experience required Solid assessment skills with the ability to address needs across all age groups Familiarity with emergency procedures and use of operating room equipment Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities Commitment to accurate, thorough electronic documentation Knowledge of National Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocol Understanding of confidentiality guidelines including HIPPA compliance Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team Physical capability to meet the Occupational Safety requirements related to the position

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative assessments Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures Respond professionally and courteously to patients, families, and colleagues, maintaining a patient- and family-centered environment Demonstrate competency in clinical skills, including use of emergency equipment Individualize care based on surgical procedure, anesthesia type, and patient response Facilitate patient and family education regarding surgical procedures and discharge instructions Ensure timely completion and evaluation of Pre Admission Testing (PAT) based on surgery needs, age, and health status Maintain detailed and accurate patient charts, documenting progress and educational interventions If you are a skilled Operating Room RN with a passion for perioperative care and patient education, take the next step in your professional journey. for an impactful opportunity where your expertise makes a difference every day.
