Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Travel Experience the beauty of the Ozarks with a travel assignment in Rogersville, MO—a gateway to Springfield's vibrant culture, charming local attractions, and outdoor adventures. Working in southern Missouri means you'll have the chance to explore breathtaking natural parks, unique historical sites, and a flourishing arts scene. Beyond your shifts, savor local cuisine, sample craft breweries, and enjoy an array of museums and natural wonders right at your doorstep, from the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum to historic Route 66 stops. Professionally, this travel opportunity in a fast-paced, high-acuity perioperative setting offers valuable exposure to diverse cases, including trauma, vascular, and hybrid surgical procedures. You'll collaborate with respected clinical leaders at a renowned regional facility, building advanced skills as both an OR scrub and circulator RN. Navigating state-of-the-art equipment, including DaVinci robotics, and utilizing Epic EMR enhances your practice and résumé while learning various workplace styles and approaches to patient-centered care.
Schedule/Hours:
Day shift: 3x12s, Friday-Sunday 36 hours per week guaranteed On-call as scheduled (approximately 5 or fewer calls per 8 weeks) 13-week assignmentRequired Qualifications:
Valid RN license (eligible or currently licensed in Missouri) Current BLS certification (AHA only) Minimum 2 years of Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience (teaching hospital experience considered) Scrub and OR circulator proficiency At least 1 year interventional vascular experience; competent in conscious sedation Ability to float and adapt to diverse surgical teamsPreferred:
Advanced trauma experience Experience working with DaVinci robotics and complex surgical environmentsResponsibilities:
Deliver and coordinate direct patient care for all age groups in the OR and hybrid suite Assist vascular and other surgeons in endovascular and open cases Operate within protocols ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality Collaborate across disciplines to optimize outcomes and patient satisfactionBenefits & Perks:
