This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a high-performing multidisciplinary surgical team specializing in complex orthopedic procedures, including advanced total joint revisions and polytrauma cases. Collaborate with top surgeons and develop expertise with innovative technologies like the Mako robotic system and Hana table positioning. Here, you'll sharpen your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while enhancing your resume with specialty experience only available at top-tier surgical centers.
Schedule & Hours:
Flexible shift options: 10 or 12-hour shifts Weekend call: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (1:4 weekends) Guaranteed 36 hours weekly One overnight trauma call per rotation
Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing At least 2 years' recent Level 1 trauma and orthopedic OR experience Proficient first scrubbing in complex joint revisions & orthopedic trauma Demonstrated experience with Stryker, DePuy, Smith & Nephew, Zimmer systems, Mako robotics, Hana positioning CNOR preferred Adaptability and keen problem-solving in fast-turnaround, high-acuity OR settings
Key Responsibilities:
First assist and scrub for complex joint revision and trauma orthopedic cases Operate efficiently with advanced technology and specialty equipment Collaborate with a skilled perioperative team in five orthopedic ORs, supporting high-efficiency metrics (including room turnovers and first case on-time starts) Maintain rigorous adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards
