Must be able to take call
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license in the state Current BLS (AHA) upon hire; maintain ongoing certification ACLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire; maintain certification PALS (AHA) within 30 days of hire; maintain certification At least one year of perioperative nursing experience or on-the-job training
EPIC EMR
proficiency Pre/Post Op experience Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) (AORN) preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Role Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to coordinate patient care throughout the perioperative process Deliver direct and indirect care for neonates through older adults using the nursing process Guide and supervise OR technicians and other support staff Ensure safe, efficient patient flow and maintain OR organization Uphold hospital standards, policies, and regulatory compliance Participate in unit meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and serve as a resource for peers Remain adaptable for call coverage as needed
