You'll work in a dynamic, Level II Trauma pediatric environment with 15 beds and a diverse, experienced staff. Exposure to a collaborative team—featuring intensivists, respiratory therapists, and case managers—offers a valuable window into a variety of workplace practices and innovative leadership approaches. As you care for young patients under 2:1 nurse ratios, you'll build skills in acute care while working with advanced monitoring technologies and an EMR system (Meditech/CPN).

Schedule:

7:00 AM to 7:00

PM Qualifications:

Active RN license with current acute care hospital PICU experience (minimum 1 year)

BLS & PALS

certifications required Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a teaching hospital

Desired:

CRRT experience, APHON certification, previous work in a pediatric teaching hospital

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centered PICU nursing care, ensuring safety and comfort Administer IV starts, blood draws, and perform TPT placements Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across day and night shifts Maintain detailed records with Meditech/CPN EMR Adapt to high-pressure clinical situations and demonstrate decisive, compassionate care
