During your time here, immerse yourself in a dynamic pediatric intensive care environment that nurtures both professional and personal growth. You'll be working nights (7P-7A) in a 15-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, supported by an expert interdisciplinary team in a Level II Trauma setting. This opportunity offers an inside look at a high-acuity teaching hospital—and the chance to learn alongside skilled intensivists, respiratory therapists, and more. Expand your resume by handling advanced pediatric cases, mastering new technology, and navigating Meditech/CPN EMR systems. The blend of an experienced staff and leading-edge equipment ensures you'll gain skills sought after nationwide.
Hours and Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Flexible contract length options
Required Qualifications:
Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of recent acute care PICU experience Current BLS and PALS certifications
Preferred Experience:
CRRT experience APHON certification Previous experience in a pediatric teaching hospital
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional care in a high-acuity pediatric intensive care unit Monitor patient conditions using general CR monitoring equipment Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements Respond swiftly and competently in emergency scenarios Maintain accurate documentation in the Meditech/CPN system Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
