The role provides valuable experience in adult and pediatric ICUs, trauma care, acute neuro, cardiac, orthopedic, and oncology rehabilitation, making it an excellent addition to your expanding resume. You'll gain insights into various department operations and have the chance to work closely with experienced clinicians, developing your leadership and adaptability.
Schedule/Hours:
Variable day shift (self-scheduling not allowed) Weekend and holiday shifts required (comp days provided) Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Current physical therapy license (WI license required before onboarding) BLS certification required Strong experience in adult ICU, acute neuro, trauma, ortho, and cardiac care is a plus Flexibility to cover all inpatient and rehab areas (adults and pediatrics) Effective verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated teamwork and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mobility evaluations and provide thorough documentation to support next level of care decisions Deliver rehabilitative treatments to a diverse patient population (adults, pediatrics, acute, rehab, trauma, stroke) Collaborate with PTAs, rehab aides, and multidisciplinary colleagues Adhere to professional dress code (clean, solid scrubs) and facility clock-in/out procedures
