Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Experience the vibrant lifestyle of Boca Raton, FL, while advancing your career in a setting known for both clinical excellence and professional collaboration. This travel opportunity places you in a dynamic hospital environment where you'll work with a diverse patient population and a seasoned team, gaining insights from varied leadership styles and expanding your specialized therapy skill set. The facility features a robust 42-bed Inpatient Rehab unit, with a dedicated team of directors, lead therapists, and support staff. As part of the day shift crew (8-hour shifts, no night work), you'll provide essential PT services—balancing one weekend a month with weekdays off for well-deserved downtime to explore the scenic coastlines and welcoming culture of Boca Raton. Professional exposure abounds here. Expect to broaden your experience with advanced equipment and processes, treating orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and med-surg patients, all within a teaching hospital that's recognized nationally for its specialties in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, and bariatrics.
Schedule & Shifts:
Day shift, 8 hours One weekend per month; compensated with weekdays off No on-call or night shiftsQualifications:
Current BLS certification Minimum 1 year of hospital acute care, inpatient rehab, or SNF experience Ability to work varied day shift hours Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferredResponsibilities:
Provide comprehensive inpatient PT to varied populations Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams on a bustling 42-bed unit Contribute to patient care planning and tech-forward treatment Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate documentation Support a compassionate, efficient, and team-oriented environmentDress Code:
