Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility) Experience delivering therapy in a hospital setting is strongly desired Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, and evaluate patient needs within acute care environments Previous experience delegating tasks to Physical Therapist Assistants, Athletic Trainers, and Aides is a plus Strong communication skills for educating patients, families, and caregivers
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct formal and informal testing to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status Develop and execute goal-specific treatment plans, coordinating with physicians and clinical teams Update and submit written treatment regimes, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals Coordinate patient scheduling and treatment frequency, ensuring alignment with patient and caregiver needs Provide thorough patient and family education on prognosis, treatment alternatives, and interventions
