Schedule/Hours:

8-hour day shifts Tuesday through Saturday Expected 40 hours per week Minimal weekend or on-call coverage

Qualifications:

Current and valid California Physical Therapy license Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a physical therapist Background in inpatient hospital therapy Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Exposure to pelvic floor and/or pediatric therapy is a plus

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized therapy plans in an inpatient setting Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to coordinated, well-rounded patient care Utilize evidence-based practices to maximize patient comfort, mobility, and functional outcomes Document patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed to ensure optimal rehabilitation Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding recovery processes and therapeutic exercises Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with hospital policies and physical therapy best practices
