As a physical therapist in a hospital rehab department, you will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team serving a large inpatient and acute rehabilitation unit. Engaging with a diverse caseload and collaborating with a staff of physical, occupational, and speech therapists, you'll have the opportunity to refine your clinical skills and gain valuable insight into advanced therapy techniques used in leading healthcare settings. Exposure to various documentation systems, leadership styles, and department protocols will further enhance your professional growth and adaptability as a clinician.
Schedule/Hours:
Day shift coverage, no typical night shift assignments On-call requirements as neededPreferred Qualifications:
Active physical therapy license BLS certification is required Experience in hospital-based therapy settings Strong team player with adaptability to fast-paced environments Previous travel therapy experience is beneficial Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferredCore Responsibilities:
Complete initial evaluations and plan evidence-based treatment programs Conduct follow-up treatments, including specialized modalities such as vestibular and lymphedema therapy Maintain precise documentation using Meditech or NetHealth (ReDoc) Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes Adapt to departmental changes, demonstrating flexibility in patient assignmentsBenefits and Travel Perks:
