Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment (specific schedule to be discussed during interview process)
Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive patient evaluations and design individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and physician direction Delegate and direct therapy services as needed for assigned patients Develop functional therapy programs, promoting return to community activity Serve as an educator for patients, families, colleagues, and students Consistently uphold organizational safety standards, focusing on safe patient handling, materials handling, and infection prevention Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with all policies and regulatory standards Participate in student education and professional development programs Maintain state licensure in good standing, adhering to ongoing education and ethical practice Support performance improvement initiatives by actively contributing feedback and implementing action plans
Qualifications:
Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in Texas Recent experience in a hospital/outpatient setting preferred Strong communication, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills Commitment to patient safety and collaborative team culture
