Schedule/Hours:
Primarily outpatient care Floating to acute care as needed
Qualifications:
Valid and current Physical Therapist license Experience in outpatient and acute care settings a plus Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Able to delegate and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides Comfortable with Microsoft Windows and ongoing technology training Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
Responsibilities:
Assess patient function using formal and informal methods Develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with physicians Supervise and delegate tasks to PTAs and Aides Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapies and home routines Document responses to treatment and any status changes per policy Contribute to process improvement, program development, and community education Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and conferences
