Key Qualifications:
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Experience in a hospital, acute care, or rehabilitation setting preferred Strong understanding of APTA standards and evidence-based care Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, patients, and families Commitment to maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Carry out physical therapy treatments per physician's orders in a safe and timely manner Actively involve staff and family members in patient care as appropriate Maintain accurate, thorough medical documentation in compliance with APTA standards Mentor team members, including PTAs, and participate in program development Adjust schedules as needed to balance department caseloads Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment Seek and utilize current research to guide clinical interventions Attend meetings, educational sessions, and departmental services
