Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Travel Professionals skilled in X-ray imaging are sought for a contract opportunity supporting patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, and working effectively within a collaborative clinical team.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position; exact duration and shifts to be discussed during the interview process.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Demonstrated proficiency in X-ray imaging techniques and equipment. Ability to properly position patients for a variety of radiographic examinations. Familiarity with all types of radiographic machinery and capability to operate them as needed. Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with patients, physicians, visitors, and colleagues. Strong understanding of safe patient care practices and adherence to medical protocols. Commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education and participation in in-services. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly valued. Certification and compliance with applicable state and national regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality diagnostic X-ray images for radiologist interpretation. Ensure accurate and safe positioning of patients for all procedures. Maintain radiology equipment and monitor inventory of supplies. Deliver patient care with sensitivity and uphold institutional service standards and core values. Consistently comply with internal policies to maximize quality of service. Participate in staff development sessions and pursue continued education in imaging practices. Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisory staff.
