Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Seeking a passionate and skilled physical therapist to provide exceptional care to patients in a hospital outpatient setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference within a supportive and safety-focused clinical environment.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, contract assignment Day shifts; weekday schedule No on-call or weekend shifts required
Qualifications & Requirements:
Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Physical Therapist Relevant experience in hospital-based or outpatient therapy Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to design and adapt individualized treatment plans Commitment to upholding ethical standards and organizational values Participation in continuing education and professional development
Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations for all assigned patients Develop, implement, and regularly update patient-centered treatment plans in collaboration with physicians Delegate and direct therapy services appropriately for assigned caseload Promote and maintain a safe clinical environment, adhering to the "10 Foot Circle of Safety" including safe patient handling and infection prevention Ensure clear and timely electronic medical record documentation, including treatment goals, medical necessity, and quality assessments Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and colleagues Participate in student programs as mentor and supervisor, supporting learning objectives and evaluations Adhere to state regulatory guidelines, licensure qualifications, and clinic policies for appearance, attendance, and punctuality Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and organizational success Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team with a shared vision for patient- and employee safety and compassionate service delivery.
