Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate assigned patients, developing, implementing, and adjusting treatment plans aligned with individual goals and physician guidance. Direct and delegate all therapy service components for assigned patients, ensuring functional programs facilitate safe return to community activities. Serve as an educator to patients, families, colleagues, and students within the clinic, fostering a positive learning environment and providing clinical supervision as needed. Maintain clinical documentation to the highest standards—clear, timely, and compliant with regulatory, clinical, and state/federal guidelines. Advocate and uphold organizational missions, values, and the highest levels of patient and workplace safety, actively promoting hazard prevention and safe patient/material handling. Participate in ongoing professional development and organizational performance improvement initiatives, demonstrating commitment to continued learning and ethical practice.
Desired Qualifications:
Current and valid PT license (or eligibility) for the state of Virginia. Recent clinical experience in an outpatient or hospital setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for education and mentorship.
