As a Registered Nurse specializing in psychiatric care, you'll have the unique chance to engage with patients in a behavioral health setting. Schedule/Hours:
7p-7a night shift Weekend rotation required
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient needs to deliver individualized, direct care on an assigned unit. Analyze comprehensive patient information—including medical history and diagnostics—to develop customized nursing care plans. Prepare and implement nursing processes such as medication administration and therapeutic interventions. Reconcile and review medical records for accuracy, complying with regulatory and organizational standards. Continuously evaluate patient responses to interventions, adapting care plans accordingly. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes. Perform additional clinical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum 1 year as a Registered Nurse required; at least 1 year in an ANCC-defined clinical specialty favored. Active, unrestricted RN license in North Carolina or a compact state. Current BLS certification via AHA or American Red Cross.
