Travel Radiation Therapist - Beckley, WV

Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Schedule/Hours:

4x10-hour shifts, M-F (6:45 am - 5:15 pm or 6:45 am - 3:15 pm) Guaranteed 40 hours per week No weekends or on-call required

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality care in an adult outpatient setting, managing daily caseloads of 20-35 patients Operate radiation equipment using techniques such as External Beam Therapy and IMRT Perform CBCT/kV/mV imaging, prophylactic treatments, and observe strict radiation safety guidelines Maintain thorough treatment documentation with Mosaiq, iKnowMed, and McKesson EMR systems Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide patient/family education Participate in chart checks, handle lift/transfer devices, and implement isolation precautions as required

Desired Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience BLS certification, ARRT (R)(T), and valid WV RT Board License Proficiency in CBCT/kV/mV imaging, External Beam Therapy, IMRT General skills in radiation safety Preferred skills: CT Simulation, Tumor Localization, Calculating Dose, Tomo Therapy, Patient Education Must have a permanent residence over 100 miles from Beckley, WV Clean license required—no prior suspensions; probations reviewed case by case Must be willing to complete a pre-employment fit test (may require travel up to 100 miles) Commitment to mandatory flu vaccinations unless medically exempt
