Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Travel Discover the vibrant city of Marietta, GA, where Southern charm meets modern living. This travel position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Radiation Therapist to elevate their expertise in a high-demand setting. Working with a dynamic Radiation Oncology Department exposes you to cutting-edge workplace practices, diverse patient populations, and a variety of leadership styles. Expand your resume while applying your technical skills in operating advanced radiation-producing equipment and participating in multi-disciplinary care. Schedule/Hours Day shift, Monday through Friday between 8am-7pm (shift hours vary weekly) Weekends as needed Contract begins after 5/9
Desired Qualifications:
Associate's degree or graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program required Current ARRT Radiation Therapy certification Active BLS certification (Amer Red Cross BLS accepted) Minimum of 2 years' experience in Radiation Therapy preferred Demonstrated ability to treat/simulate patients effectivelyKey Responsibilities:
Deliver precise therapeutic radiation treatments per physician's prescription Accurately document treatments and patient reactions in the EMR Participate in quality control monitoring and routine safety procedures Educate patients and families on treatment expectations and side effects Mentor and provide feedback to RTT and RTR students as a clinical instructor Maintain compliance with all workplace policies and code of conduct Participate in on-call rotations and additional assignments as neededBenefits & Travel Perks:
