Category Nursing - RN - MS Oncology Job Type Travel Advance your nursing career in a dynamic setting specializing in medical-surgical oncology care. Key Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license. Minimum of one year of experience in a medical-surgical oncology setting. Proficiency in chemotherapy administration and oncology care protocols. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and collaborative abilities to coordinate multidisciplinary care. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care to adults with cancer, including monitoring, medication administration, and documentation. Oversee chemotherapy infusions and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and symptom management. Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Maintain strict safety standards and adhere to infection control protocols. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and participate actively in emergency situations.
