As a travel Radiation Therapist, you'll have the chance to enhance your skills while working in a region renowned for its friendly atmosphere and unique Southern hospitality. Southport isn't just a beautiful backdrop; it's a launching pad for professional growth, allowing you to engage with established clinical teams across multiple sites, observe varied protocols, and strengthen your adaptability in dynamic healthcare settings. This opportunity places you directly in the clinic, bypassing lengthy orientations, so you can immediately collaborate with experienced clinicians and expand your practical knowledge. You'll be working in a technologically advanced environment with systems like Aria, Pinnacle (Philips), and Eclipse (Varian), supporting your résumé with hands-on exposure to advanced therapeutic modalities.
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours/week Choice of 5x8-hour shifts (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm, occasionally 9:00am-6:00pm) Option for 4x10-hour shifts (7:00am-5:30pm or 8:00am-6:30pm) No on-call, weekend, or float requirements (other than specific regional coverage) Up to 7 days time-off permitted per contractQualifications:
ARRT(T) certified; BLS certification required Minimum 2 years' experience in adult acute care radiation therapy Proficient with CT simulation, external beam therapy, IMRT, MRI, PET, and treatment planning systems Experience with Varian platforms, Rapid Response protocols, and strict radiation safety standards Willingness to float between two clinical sites in the coastal region as neededResponsibilities:
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver precise radiation therapy Utilize advanced imaging and simulation technology for tumor localization and treatment planning Adhere to stringent safety protocols and infection prevention measures Respond to varying patient needs in a pair or team setting; never work aloneBenefits & Perks:
