Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Experience the vibrant city of Aurora, IL, where this travel opportunity will allow you to immerse yourself in one of the Midwest's most diverse healthcare environments. Working in this region offers deep professional enrichment, as you'll collaborate with a dynamic team within a Level II Trauma Center. Expand your clinical acumen while engaging with innovative practices and advanced interventional procedures, all while having the chance to explore historic neighborhoods, vibrant riverfronts, and outstanding local cuisine during your downtime. As an Imaging - Radiology Tech, you will utilize your expertise within a technologically advanced setting comprising five state-of-the-art interventional rooms, including specialized Cath Labs, EP rooms, Hybrid, and IR suites. This assignment will strengthen your resume with valuable experience, providing exposure to a broad case mix including high-acuity heart catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, AAA repairs, and complex interventional radiology procedures.
Schedule/Hours On-call requirement:
10-11 call shifts per month, including 2 weekend rotations (Friday evening through Monday morning) Weekday call: 4pm-7am 30-minute on-call response time Facility closed for holidays except for call team (1-2 holidays per contract) Desired Qualifications ARRT certification, IEMA (IL state license), BLS, and ACLS Minimum 2 years of experience in Cath Lab or IR required; cross-trained candidates highly preferred Proficiency in scrubbing and panning, Impella and balloon pump, and hemodynamic monitoring Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Core Responsibilities Perform and assist with diagnostic/interventional procedures across Cath Lab, EP, Hybrid, and IR modalities Operate advanced imaging equipment (Siemens/GE); document via EPIC and ancillary systems Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining strict adherence to clinical safety guidelines Participate in on-call coverage, providing timely, expert care in emergent situations Benefits & Perks Premium, tax-advantaged stipends and comprehensive travel assistance Robust healthcare benefits, 401(k) options, and job security Free onsite parking and procedural scrubs provided Engage with experienced leadership and multidisciplinary teams, supporting accelerated career development If you're ready to take your expertise to the next level while exploring all that the greater Chicago area has to offer, take the next step in your journey—apply today!
