Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel This contract opportunity for an experienced Imaging - Radiology Tech offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. You'll be supporting a busy imaging department within a Level III Trauma Center and Magnet-Designated facility, gaining valuable experience with a diverse patient population, from inpatient and outpatient to emergency and procedural cases across all age ranges.
Schedule & Hours:
Monday through Friday, with every other weekend required One on-call shift per week (rotates among three shifts: 0630-1400, 1400-2230, 2230-0630) Flexibility in start times based on departmental needs One holiday per contract
Essential Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Minimum 2 years of acute care or surgical radiology experience ARRT certification, current WI license, and BLS required Proficient in surgical/procedural imaging, especially: ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases OR imaging: ortho, general surgery, spines; preferred if comfortable with o-arm technology Experience with all forms of general, portable, and procedural radiography in a mid- to high-level hospital environment Familiarity with EPIC EMR and PACS (McKesson), GE/Fuji/Del Medical X-ray equipment, GE C-arm and Medtronic o-arm systems
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures for 15-20 patients per day, ensuring quality and patient safety Collaborate with a skilled interdisciplinary team, including a lead tech, 24/7 radiologists, hospitalists, and intensivists Rotate between various procedural and diagnostic rooms as needed Participate in department orientation and ongoing training
