Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel A skilled Radiology Technologist is needed to support imaging services for a reputable healthcare facility. This contract position plays a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging to assist physicians with patient assessment and care.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) State licensure (if required) Proficient in operating X-ray and other diagnostic imaging equipment Demonstrated knowledge of radiologic safety protocols and best practices Familiarity with digital radiography and PACS systems Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced healthcare environment BLS certification preferred
Schedule/Hours:
Contract role with variable shifts as required by department needs
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations efficiently and accurately Ensure appropriate positioning and comfort of patients throughout procedures Maintain precise documentation in accordance with facility protocols Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging quality and workflow Monitor equipment functionality, troubleshoot minor issues, and promptly report larger concerns for resolution Adhere strictly to safety measures, infection control, and regulatory standards Assist during emergency situations with rapid, high-quality radiographic imaging Practice sensitivity and discretion with patient information at all times This opportunity allows you to make a direct impact working alongside a collaborative medical team focused on patient-centered care.
