Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to provide vital imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a professional with a patient-focused mindset and a strong background in diagnostic imaging.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time hours; specific shifts may vary
Qualifications:
Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required Current state Radiology Technologist license Minimum of one year of recent hospital-based radiology/imaging experience Proficient in a range of imaging modalities, with emphasis on producing high-quality diagnostic images Strong commitment to safety protocols, infection control, and patient privacy Effective communication and collaboration skills Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Perform radiologic examinations as ordered by medical staff, ensuring images are clear and diagnostic Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with attention to patient comfort and safety Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues as needed Follow established protocols and regulatory requirements during all procedures Accurately document examinations and maintain patient records in the electronic medical record system Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to provide seamless patient care Maintain a clean and organized work area, and support inventory management for imaging supplies
