Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Advance your imaging career by taking on a key position as a Radiology Technologist, delivering high-quality diagnostic services in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and timely results in support of patient care teams.
Qualifications & Certifications:
Certified Radiology Technologist (Certification required; must be included with your application materials) Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Radiology Tech, clearly reflected on your resume Demonstrated experience working in an Operating Room environment Strong understanding of radiology principles, safety guidelines, and imaging protocols Skilled in operating imaging equipment and conducting a variety of radiological procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to coordinate with physicians, nurses, and patients Current compliance with continuing education requirements as mandated by certifying bodies

Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiologic exams and imaging studies according to physician orders and departmental standards Ensure patient safety and comfort through proper positioning, clear communication, and adherence to protocols Maintain accurate patient records and update imaging reports in the electronic medical records system Collaborate with surgical and clinical staff in the operating room to provide imaging support during procedures Monitor, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff This contract role offers you the chance to broaden your professional experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
