This travel assignment in a 64-bed emergency department is perfect for registered nurses seeking professional development through exposure to a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. You'll collaborate with experienced healthcare teams, encounter a wide variety of critical cases—such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, cardiac events, and respiratory failure—and refine your skills using specialized equipment like rapid infusors and Arctic Sun systems. 2:30 pm - 3:00 am Block scheduling not guaranteed

Qualifications:

Active NY RN license (NURSYS verification required) and all other RN licenses Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department nursing, including some pediatric experience Previous travel nursing experience highly desirable Familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC required) Current AHA certifications:

ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC

Up-to-date skills checklist for emergency nursing Charge nurse capability strongly preferred Ability and willingness to float as needed Navy blue scrubs
