Schedule/Hours:

6:30a - 7p (Block scheduling not guaranteed) In this Emergency Department RN role, you'll work in a fast-paced, 64-bed setting serving a wide range of patients, from newborns to geriatrics. Handling complex diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure, you'll build considerable expertise across age groups and conditions, utilizing advanced specialty equipment like the Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. A strong preference is given to candidates with charge capability, and floating within units may be required, allowing for even greater variety in your daily experiences.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a dynamic ER setting Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient-centered treatment plans Demonstrate proficiency with

EPIC EMR

for accurate and efficient charting Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and utilize specialty equipment as needed Ensure compliance with NY State and national nursing standards

Qualifications:

Active NY nursing license and NURSYS license verification with all RN licenses Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric exposure Documented prior travel nursing experience (required for submission) Current

AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS TNCC

certificate in hand Up-to-date resume, skills checklist, and driver's license with matching address

EPIC EMR

experience required Ability to float to other units as needed Highly preferred: Experience in charge nurse roles
