Job Description

Overview Registered Nurse - L&D, travel assignment in Ukiah, California. Start date 05/26/2026 for a 13-week assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital.
Weekly pay range:
$2,165 per week to $2,279 per week.
Shift:
3x12-hour day shifts. This is a travel - temporary assignment supporting labor and delivery services with NICU exposure in a high-acuity setting.

Setting:
Short Term Acute Care Hospital; Labor and Delivery with Level 2 NICU requirements Responsibilities Provide direct care to laboring patients and postpartum mothers, including monitoring maternal and fetal status and supporting vaginal deliveries or cesarean sections as needed Perform intermittent fetal monitoring, administer medications as ordered, and document in the Cerner EMR with accurate, timely charting Collaborate with obstetric, neonatal, anesthesia, and nursing teams; manage neonatal needs and coordinate transfers within Level 2 NICU as required Support newborn assessments, breastfeeding education, and discharge planning; assist with postpartum recovery and patient education Maintain aseptic technique, infection control, and patient safety; participate in handoffs and on-call responsibilities as assigned Requirements Active RN license in California (or eligible compact state) Labor and Delivery experience required; Level 2 NICU experience required
Certifications:
