Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Current registration as a Respiratory Therapist Proven proficiency in advanced respiratory care techniques Experience with neonatal through geriatric patient populations Knowledge of infection control and aseptic technique Strong communication and teaching abilities Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations

Key Responsibilities:

Administer IPPB, humidity/aerosol therapy, and pulmonary drainage procedures Conduct electrocardiography testing, complex pulmonary function assessments, and arterial blood gas sampling Manage mechanical ventilation and artificial airway maintenance Operate oxygen/gas analyzers and assist in bronchoscopies Serve as a technical and clinical resource to physicians and healthcare staff Provide patient and family education, create individualized care plans, and participate in rehabilitation initiatives Maintain accurate treatment records and ensure quality assurance standards are met Assist in training, mentoring new staff, and instructing nursing personnel
