Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Travel Set in the welcoming community of Shepherdsville, KY, this travel opportunity blends the charm of the Bluegrass State with the professional immersion of working in a thriving medical environment. Whether you're advancing your critical care skills or eager for your first travel assignment with a strong adult ICU background, this position helps you broaden your clinical repertoire. Work with diagnoses spanning COPD, heart failure, LVAD, cystic fibrosis, and more—including transplants and specialized equipment that deepens your expertise.
Schedule/Hours:
Shifts:
6:00am-6:00pm or 6:00pm-6:00am Four weekend shifts per month, holiday coverage as needed Schedule released monthly No on-call requirementDesired Background:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license; CRTs with extensive experience considered Current BLS and ACLS certifications required At least 1 year of experience; first-time travelers accepted if adult critical care background Proficiency in oxygen, aerosol/MDI therapies, ventilator management, trach care, andABG/ABLS
procedures Flexible mindset; willingness to learn and float, including to rehab settings on the same campusKey Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to varied and sometimes complex patient populations Employ technologies ranging from Philips monitors and V60 BiPap to PB 980 ventilators and Hamilton MR-1 Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary care teams and supervisors Float as needed within campus departmentsBenefits & Perks:
