Responsibilities include:
Assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders. Administering respiratory therapy treatments and procedures. Monitoring patient progress and adapting care plans as needed. Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams. Maintaining accurate, up-to-date patient records in accordance with facility standards. Educating patients and families about respiratory care and disease prevention.
Desired qualifications:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Active respiratory therapy license (or eligibility) for Wisconsin. BLS certification required (ACLS and PALS preferred). At least one year of recent experience in an acute care setting is highly desirable. Strong communication and organizational skills.
